Adult Learning Program
English Language and Literacy classes We provide a range of classes to help people to identify their English language skills and build on them.
  • When: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (during school terms).
  • Please phone to make an appointment
Conversation Groups A relaxed and fun way to develop English language skills.
  • Call for more information
Introduction to Computers Learn basic computer skills with other beginners.
  • When: Please call for next start date.
  • Cost: $55 - 7 students per class.

Community Support Groups
Community Lunch Enjoy delicious and nutritious meals in a relaxed and friendly space
  • All welcome - Just drop in.
  • When: Wednesdays from 12 – 1.15pm
  • Cost: Gold coin donation appreciated
Craft and Friendship Group Learn new and share existing craft skills with other women.
  • When: Mondays from 1.30 – 3.00pm – just drop in.
  • Cost: Gold coin donation appreciated
‘Expression through Art’ A facilitated art group for people who want to explore their creative side and have illness or injury.
  • When: Wednesdays from 1.30-3.30pm
  • Cost: $3.50 per week.
  • In collaboration with Monash Medical Centre
‘Living in Australia’ – Life skills for the South Sudanese Community Monthly sessions about budgeting, health, community services, the legal system, family safety and much more.

  • In collaboration with the South Central MRC.
Strength Training For people who have illness disability or injury.
  • When: Fridays 9.30–11.30 - Pre admission assessment needed
  • Cost: $ 4.00 per single or $5 per couple per week.

Individual Community Support Services
Career Counselling and Life Long Learning For those seeking a change in direction or looking for work. We aim to help you identify interests, skills and abilities, which will assist in obtaining work.
  • When: Tuesday afternoons.
  • By appointment only.
Emergency Relief We assist people who are struggling financially, with non-perishable food items and vouchers.
  • For those living in 3166, 3167, 3168 and 3169 postcode areas.
  • No appointment is necessary.
  • When:
    • Wednesday: 10am – 3pm
    • Thursday: 11am – 3pm
    • Friday: 11am – 3pm
Information, Advocacy and Referral We have access to information regarding many other services providing emergency relief, accommodation, health services, counselling, employment support and much more.
